Lauren Pokorzynski is a versatile violinist active as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer. She currently serves as Principal Second Violinist with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra and Associate Concertmaster of the Lubbock Chamber Orchestra. A passionate advocate for community music, she co-founded Lubbock’s chapter of Classical Revolution and has premiered numerous contemporary works. Lauren has appeared as a soloist with ensembles including the Texas Tech University Symphony and the Benzie Symphony Orchestra, and she records regularly for film and album projects. A Suzuki-certified teacher, she maintains a private studio and is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts at Texas Tech University.
