
Andrew Irvin, Violin
Andrew Irvin is Concertmaster of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and a seasoned violinist whose performances span North America and beyond. A dedicated chamber musician, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Augustin Hadelich and the Ying Quartet. His solo repertoire ranges from Bach to Korngold and includes the world premiere of Michael Fine’s Double Violin Concerto. A faculty member at the Hot Springs Music Festival since 2004, Irvin is also the creator of the Arkansas Symphony’s Bedtime with Bach series. He teaches a select group of students, many of whom attend top music programs nationwide, and performs on a 1765 Gagliano violin.
